Karteek Guturu (Assistant Professor of Architecture) completed Bachelors degree in Architecture from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, in 2003. Thereafter he initiated his professional work attempting several competition projects and later worked in Bangalore for an year with Sobha Developers where he was involved in the development of Infosys Mysore campus. He was also involved in designing the landmark Multiplex (Geodesic) for Infosys Mysore along with Auditorium and Software Development blocks at Mysore and Bangalore.
He finished his Masters in Urban Design from School of Planning and Architecture-New Delhi in 2008. He has attained professional experience of high quality, working for large offices in India including Reliance Haryana SEZ, Gurgaon where his job responsibilities were to analyse site potentials and regional transit corridors around the site, preparation of detailed Urban Design and landscape schemes for the 1200 acre start-up phase, preparation and compilation of Masterplan report for Government agencies, developing Transit oriented development models and preparation of alternative Urban Design models for various eminent projects.
He is a registered Architect with the Council of Architecture. He is also an Associate member of the Institute of Urban Designers-India and Indian Institute of Architects.
