Bhaskar Gowd Sudagani (Assistant Professor of Planning) is a Graduate in Civil Engineering from Acharya Nagarjuna University with Masters in Transport Planning (M.T.P.) from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
Worked as a Traffic Engineer in a Private Industry on Highway Traffic Studies, analysis and Preparation of Techno Economic Feasibility Reports, EIA and SIA. Later joined as Transport Specialist cum Deputy Project Manager (SUTP) in Institute of Urban Transport appraising various Urban Transport Projects (Comprehensive Mobility Plans, Traffic Management Plans, Road Infrastructure, BRT, Procurement of buses, ITS and Innovative Technologies in UT) submitted under JnNURM scheme of MoUD, GoI. He is also a trainer in 'Toolkits on Alternative Analysis, Bus System, Public Private Partnership in Urban transport & Institutional Frameworks for Urban transport' under World Bank - DFID assisted sustainable Urban Transport Planning Project as part of individual capacity building initiative by MoUD, GoI.
He is a life member of Indian Roads Congress and Institute of Urban Transport. He presented a paper “An Approach towards the Development of Capacity Model for a Roundabout” in “10th International conference on Advanced Applications of Technology in Transportation 2008 (AATT 2008)” held between 28th and 31st of May 2008 in Athens, Greece.
