School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada invites applications for doctoral research program leading to the award of the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with a vision to develop independent and scholarly contribution to the progress of the body of knowledge.  The thrust areas of research may be within the broad general areas of Architecture/Planning encompassing all disciplines related to built environment and human settlements.

Completed application form accompanied by two separate Demand Drafts of Rs. 100/- towards application fee and Rs.1000/- as processing fee (Rs. 500/- in case of scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and physically handicapped candidates), in favour of “SPA, Vijayawada”, payable at Vijayawada, should reach the School by post along with required documents by 5:00 PM on 03 November 2011.  The School shall not be responsible for any postal delays. The Director reserves the right to reject any/all applications, without assigning any reason, whatsoever.

Note: Those who had applied in response to earlier announcement in 2010, need to re-apply as per the new norms and announcement. However, such applicants are not required pay the processing fee (Rs 1000/-) but are required to send the application fee (Rs 100/-) in demand draft as given in instructions.
