Admissions 2013-14:

The admission to the SPAV was conducted by the Central Counselling Board (CCB) till 2012-13, which was a body constituted by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. From this year 2013-14, the admissions to B.Arch and B.Plan in SPA Vijayawada shall be based on JEE Mains exam (conducted by CBSE), as per decision of MHRD. Students desirous to take admissions shall have to appear for JEE Mains (Paper 2) and secure good ranks. For detailed admission process visit IIT JEE Mains page.

In the SPAV, all the seats are all-India seats and there is no State or regional quota of seats. For detailed seat break-up for  reservation categories, visit last years CCB website as given below. The all-India overall rank in the 'Architecture stream' of the AIEEE exam was considered for any admissions in SPAV for all categories till last year. 'State or category ranks' were NOT considered for admissions. Entire admission process was developed, administered, and conducted by the Central Counselling Board (CCB). Admission process was on merit basis for eligible candidates as per the rules, procedures and other policies of AIEEE and through the CCB.
